Gaddafi and Sarkozy were very close friends. So close that the former Libyan dictator gave EUR 50 Million to the right wing french candidate in 2007. But what happened to their bond? Weren’t they so close? I believe the bond became a huge liability to Mr. Sarkozy that he decided to write Gaddafi off and not pay the debt. Good trade Sarkozy.
