Future Generation Prize 2012 – Short List released

The Future Generation Prize 2012, awarderd by the Pinchuk foundation, short list has been released. The first year of the prize, 2011, the Brazilian artist Cinthia Marcelle was awarded with the price. This year Brazil is once more very well represented with two artists: Andre Komatsu and Jonathas de Andrade. Also from South America, Argentina has one artist in the short list: Amalia Pica. The list consists of 20 artists of 16 different countries and is considered today the most important prize for artists under 35 years of age.
